Proposed changes to GNH Constitution

Please review the following proposed (minor) changes to the GNH Constitution to be voted on by membership in our 1/23/2022 membership meeting. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and/or voice any concerns at that meeting. Thank you.

Section 9 Article 1 Proposal Current Language: The President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Commissioners shall be elected by a vote of the membership present at a Membership Meeting in the odd-numbered years. The winners shall be the top vote getters for each position. The election of Member Representatives will be held in even-numbered years with the top four vote getters assuming office. All elections shall be held prior to the start of the scholastic season with winners taking office subject to Article 4. Section 10 Article 2 Proposal Current Language: The annual dues for the coming year are due and payable on or before June 1. Failure to pay the dues on or before June 1 will result in a late fee charge of $25. Failure to pay the annual dues and late fee by July 1 will result in termination from the Association. Proposed Language: The annual dues for the coming year are due and payable on or before June July 1. Failure to pay the dues on or before June July 1 will result in a late fee charge of $25. Failure to pay the annual dues and late fee by July August 1 will result in termination from the Association.
